Internal render

Hi,

I am doing a internal render onto a small stub wall. Can I do this onto plaster board or should I use a cement board, if so can I use a Hardibacker board?
If that is correct how do I need to prime etc hardibacker board?

What type of finish , shuttered etc ? Got any pics of what look , assume it's not being painted , do you want it looking looking like a rock face with bumps and cracks ?

Put your hand in your pocket and do it in microcement but get someone in as I previously mentioned on your rendering post.
