how to divide ceiling?

hello Folks, is there any way to divide a big ceiling into 2 sections? I am not exactly the fastest kid on the block at plastering and this would really help me.

you can run scrim through and pull it off before the plaster sets then feather into it...

but to be honest I have never needed to split a ceiling...

have a look on here for rolling set or rolling guage
