How many trowels is to many?

Nela s*p*r*lex, damaged already after few months.
14" MT
Midget trowel and usual corner/pointing.

Need a new 16 or 18 " trowel. Thinking a MT finishing trowel

Is the speedskim worth a buy?. Is it just used for flattening then back on the trowel to fill in any hollows?.
