I am the only one in my extended family that is in the building trade, the rest mostly related to the engineering and steel trades.
I did have a close uncle (rip) who was an enthusiastic scaffolder and we had quite a bit in common business wise except I am quiet he was gobby and witty, I am honest but he took the banks for every penny he could screw them for. The banks won him over in the end though!
Both of us are/where regarded as grafters.
I have a son who has no interest in getting his hands dirty but is doing well in his chosen profression. I did not want him working with me, I am too irritable.
