Registered a small while ago but just round to posting.

21 year old from Ayrshire in Scotland.

Been looking at getting into the trade and came across this forum. Started a painting and decorating course at college last year but after doing some basic plastering [skimming, taping, roughcasting] I really took a liking for it. A bit of a perfectionist so I feel it appeals to me.

At the moment looking for a good starting point in ther trade.

Welcome to the forum

Your best bet is to find a local spread and try and get a few days with them The trade is under a lot of pressure at the moment though so dont get your hopes up too much
