Well...
I took down my horrendous lean to conservatory type building from the back of my bungalow because it is going on the market and this leaky shite just makes people want to haggle ..
Once I pulled it all down I was left with the wooden fascia so I headed out and bought plastic and did what the professionals did for the rest of the property and over clad the rotten wood fascia... (I would never do this but I am not ripping the whole fascia off for 8 meters)
All loos great and I re run the gutters. And a simple maths and I got the fall right and all is well in the world..
Till it rained ...
Water appeared to be running uphill to the corner and not to the down pipe.
Any I took all the gutter down re measured pinged my line and add more fall etc and once again the water was running away from the down pipe
Well I decided to not be lazy and get the laser out. Well f**k me the fascia on a 9 meter run was 100mm out on one end. So even though you could physically see the gutter falling in the right direction it was an optical illusion.
So I started at the other end and now the guttering looks almost level and I stuck another down pipe at the other end and all is well in the world.
