Bones will pick him apart for sure! That know stomp will play a big part in guessing.. then took to the floor the. Subbed! Night night Francis.

No chance, Francis would destroy him
What! No chance. 99% heavyweights like it standing. Jones will keep him at reach an smack his leading knee with that brutal stomp. Jones is technically way to much for Francis. Jones clearly sees opening in the heavyweight or he wouldn’t have bothered coming up.

Stipe tried to take him to the floor, that didn’t work out well for him. How will jones manage it? The guy is a beast and he showed this morning that he is also very good technically. Would be a good fight but I’d fancy Francis

Like he usually does.. picks fighters apart at his pace.. got the reach over Francis also. Be quicker on the feet. Jones the best to do it

Jones is looking fat to be a heavyweight and will easily be giving up 30+pounds to Ngannou who is just pure muscle and more sniper like now. He bangs jones out with the jab no bother. Look what happend to Izzy got mauled by a pretty average polak only seeing the same with this fight

From a recent performance perspective and attributes the odds have to be in favour of Francis. John’s been inactive and his best performances are years ago.
It’s the fight game anything can happen but I still like John to win this one.

Yeah I must admit.. I don’t feel Jones putting the weight on an going up is at his best interest. I think he should have stayed at his weight. Izzy is a good example but Jones is a different level.. Izzy thinks he’s gods gift when really he isn’t just another hype train. Francis is a block of raw muscle so the only way for Jones to win is pure talent.

As been said a prime Jones would cause Francis problems but can’t see this version with his lack of ring time. Look at difference in mcgregor with the time out

Yeah being active in mixed martial art seems to play a big part. McGregor lost is flow when he fought mayweather. Became very front footed with a boxing mindset. But being active in proper fights clearly made a difference. Jones seems up for it though. Like Jones dismantles opponents, look what he does to dc an dc up therebeing the best. Styles make fights though so who knows how’s it will play out. Francis is the new hype train for the ufc until he loses again.

Plus jones looked awful against Reyes which he did loose in most people’s eyes. So he is beatable

He didn’t seem great in that fight but 9/10 he’s usually the better man. He maybe didn’t feel that intereted in the Reyes idk. Francis an jones is a tough one. It’s not like he’s not faced hard hitters or the hight. So what does Francis offer.. hard punch. The way jones an miocic fight are completely different. Who wins.. miocic or Jones.. I say Jones. Jones is a very clever nasty fight.. hits you with knee stomps an elbows. He doesn’t play around in there. Best to do it.

See the thing with the mcgregor stance, if you watch Diaz 2 he uses this stance as I think it helps him conserve energy. The constant bouncing and in and out he used to do zaps him I think. Was watching the fight again other night and noticed it.

Defo up there with the best to do it but different kettle of fish fighting heavy weights. Plus he’s a druggie. Fights dirty. eye pokes a lot knee stamps which ain’t cool the blokes a total bell end

Yeh 100% he was saving energy in that fight. He got tapped with gassing out on the first. He should have stayed at 145 but obviously couldn’t keep cutting. Jones putting on silly weight to fight at heavyweight is IMO a bad move.. your at your weight for a reason. Unless your killing your self at a weight fair enough but to put on weight mmmm not to sure.. McGregor was under weight in his 145 run.. so really he’s a normal 155 easy. He was massive for 145 an probably the reason he done so well.. same for max an Ortega etc big guys. Then going to 155 an the likes of khabib cutting a lot to get in that weight, same principle really, would khabib do well up a weight? Maybe, maybe not

That’s what I mean.. he doesn’t play about, the knee stamps are deadly, an Francis would heavy be on a lead leg with the power he uses.. couple rounds hitting a knee would change the game for him., put he kind of swings wild .. but the last
One he seemed focused more

Khabib constantly struggled to make weight. He was killing himself.

29-0 is pretty lame to be retiring. Guys shitting himself in case he loses man. Takes a better man to fight through diversity an khabib never showed it once. Fair enough the ground game is clearly hard to beat when you have a man that isn’t ment to be in that division an with a ground background like him. Frustrated me to watch. He wants to go down as the best ever but I don’t see him passing Jones or gsp Clearly doesn’t want to risk it.

Watched his fights in the hope he would get beat, the same way I’d watch mayweather. Too much scrutiny on his last weigh in, he knows he’ll never make it again.

He did miss it! UFC is bullshit an greedy. I always wanted khabib to lose or even rocked.. everyone shat it worried about the takedown. All I wanted was one fighter to take the fight to him guns blazing an none done it. Conor was the best to do it but even he wasn’t at his best when it happened.. drunk 24/7. Leg hugging Russians. Where is the mixed fighting in that! The guy shot for a take down in a blink of a eye. Khabib fans make out he’s the greatest haha! Guys a pussy leg shooter.
