Damp patches on render - is this normal??

We had an extension done last year with render. We had the side and front of the house rendered too for continuity. Weve noticed these damp patches and drips after heavy rain that take a while to dry out and have no idea if this is normal for this type of render.

Should we getting the builder back to take a look? We have no clue so advice would be appreciated.

Rendered over wet brick work. Moisture trapped there. Do you have any damp issues internally?
