No Scaff no protection for woodwork needed blah blah blah just straight forward onto red brick so labour only. Got hoards of hessian as well. Was thinking £50 a square or does this sound a bit heavy?

Hi I would say £50.00 per m2 is about right supply and fix for 2 coat nhl 3.5 dont forget though vat will be 20% next year so job is £15k plus vat @ extra £3k

unless your pricing for somone who knows f##k all about plastering prices,50 a m2 is way off the mark.15 grand to render a house.good luck.if there`s other plasterer`s going for the job,you hav`nt got a chance bud.

how much a m2 is lime render(2 coat) to supply?can`t be anymore than around a tenner a m2.that leaves 40 a m2.plus vat for some of us.

Palolem Bangalore and Kerala. Can't f'in wait. Go every year for 4 - 6 weeks

used to do a lot of fishing near bangalore great place i envy you , used to fly to goa stay in baga/anjuna for couple of weeks and travel down to kanatarka for the fishing , done it one year on a royal enfield ,f@ckin priceless

Hey Merlin

As you say great place, its stopping me from going other places in the world to be honest. Last time I went fishing out there I caught a sea snake pink and yellow and feckin highly venomous. The I****n chap still took the hook from it though as he said they were expensive (crazy Fool)

the cheapest lime render is £10.00 plus vat per bag, 1 bag covers 1 M2 @ 10mm so thats £24.00 per m2 for a 20mm coverage then you have the beads to set, then you have the mortar fleece to protect the render for weeks and you have to mist it on a daily basis.... so your the knob bobby.... or are you a chancer whos done a 3 day course... and works for nowt,
....

Lime is specified quite allot because of stonework or single skin and it doesnt nesseceraly need lime render. Its worth offering a breathable alternative to lime that will have a significant cost saving.
check why they specified lime and what they require from the render perfomance wise, it may be a case that the architect or whoever is unaware of the alternatives. The Lime is expensive and you can expect 1 mtr at 20mm out of a 25kg bag (pretty standard for any render)

we all know you don`t get out of bed for at least £50 per hour system`s.all i`m saying is ,in my opinion 50 a m2 sounds to dear.garrett can`t of done much lime rendering over the year`s as he`s on a plastering forum asking for prices.

If you went there you would be able to hunt bears with the locals

Merlin you was staying out in the sticks 1 boozer a few lotto winners out there. Donna nook ok on summers day mate, next time your down here I give you the post code were they sell fresh fish on the docks. We get a fair bit of cod up the river when the weather is cold like it has been it's good fishing of the beach this time of year.

Done lots of lime work as it happens as I live in the Cotswolds, Just not in the last few years as my company expanded and have been doing lots of hotels and suspended ceilings in the shopfitting game up and down the country. Prices change year in year out whether up or down. So reel your neck in!

wudv thought youd get a decent rate for lime work, not many do it plus it can be pricey as systems pointed out there.

what gear you using garret

the problem is plasterjfe,as said in other post`s,there`s so many plasterer`s around these day`s,it not a specialised trade any more.down in devon every other plasterer is a LIME PLASTERING SPECIALIST.i`ve seem some of the work`s which other spreads have done, and to be honest i`ve not been to imprest with the finish.if your charging £50 a m2 and getting the work, far play.i hope garrett gets the job to be honest.getting advice from render system`s on prices is not living in the real world.if i`m honest, lime work is not something i`ve got involved in to much over the years.if your materials are costing around 20 a m2,that leaves around 30 for labour.good work if you can get it.

you pay peanuts you get monkeys as the old saying goes . 50 per m sounds ok to me we do alot for historic scotland and prices are around that mark . krend also do a product called k lime you should look into

I know what your saying bobby and I agree with some of it, I would never use a rate that was spoken by another person - I build my rates up based on each individual job.
That said I wouldnt fancy doing limework for the standard sand and cement rate that is sub £20 at th mo supply and fit. I just beleive he will get closer to what he is quoting there in his post for limework maybe not 50 but you never know

St Astier NHL 3.5 and 2 and Sand from the Trditional Lime Company based in Cheltenham (As I know from this company the sand has been properly graded and properly washed).
