Cheapest plaster for textured pattern

Good morning.
I am looking to create textured pattern on the wall.
Can someone please recommend the cheapest plaster?
The Artext Textured Finish Powder costs 53 pounds for 25 kilograms.
Could I use instead the British Gypsum Thistle One Coat Plaster?
The price would be much cheaper.
But the time to set is different. First one is 72 hours and the second one is 2 hours.
I assume the longer time to set is better for creating textured pattern.
I would appreciate if someone could please recommend right plaster with long time to set and white colour set off.
I have posted previously on the forum with the question about the best solution for ruined walls with the multifinish and at the end decided and already completed it's removal.
My idea is to create textured pattern on one wall. On the other wall is to create marble effect wall. On the wall with the street put a cork for insulation. And on the other wall probably put textured pattern too.
Thank you!

Ready mixed drywall compound, not sure on price but it's a slow setter for you.
Thank you man.
Have you heard about Artex Textured Finish?
What do you think would be the most affordable for texture patterns? Is drywall what you recommended similar to Textured Finish?
Sorry for annoying.

You could create that pattern with universal one coat, it would be better for a skip trowel finish than artex would.
Thank you very much.
One more question please.
Are Thistle One Coat Plaster and
Thistle Universal OneCoat the same?
Because I can buy Thistle One Coat Plaster in Wickes. And to buy Universal OneCoat I have to go little bit further away but I don't mind of course if they are different.

You used the cheapest plaster. The out of date stuff.

And now you have textured walls.

You should be made up.

Yes they're the same.

I hope I won't be hated if I say that I'm in London.
I hate people from London.

And brummies.

And scousers.

And the French.

And Greeks. Except Petr next door.

And the Irish.

And blacks.

And asians.

And aliens. (especially the green ones)

Oh and the Greys. I f**k**g HATE the Greys. Gang probing bastards.

And the Argies, the island thieving bastards.

And the Belgians because they're basically French.

And Casper, the bodging c**t.

And snails.

Artex should be swear filtered like *******.
They say that conspiracy types are nuts, somehow millions of Britons were persuaded that artexing their homes was fashionable, sound and sensible.
Mind you it was double bubble for a while, artex a customers ceiling then skim it 5 years later.

Artex looked ok on ceilings back in the 80z till they sussed out it was an easy covering for bad walls ! Especiallyknuckle scrapping sharp bark pattern.

Then it became the wild west and it was everywhere. I remember that shitty contract artex that came in brown bags, would go soft after a couple coats of PVA or worse still start to peel as you skim.
Then you’ve got old school artex which is rock solid, that sponge in a bag stipple more rounded than spiked.
Over board or run away.
