It was always a decorators paste brush that had been discarded cos it didn't carry enough paste anymore but made a great water brush. Older ones were/are great for a wash brush.
 
£40 for a f**k**g brush? Does it come with a labourer

I got a Faitfull PBWALL5 in a recent order as a freebie. Looks pretty good. Not used it yet though.
 
Seven inch emulsion or artex brush for me usually couple of quid cheaper than Refina 7inch, but last for a couple of years, can’t see why people buy a thousand pound trowel from Nela or whoever then three thousand on speed skimmers but only fifty pence on a brush
