Bay window

Hi everyone

Please can I have some advice. My builder has k rendered my bay window and originally put on his quote that he will replace the rotten wooden drip trim with plastic drip trim. Instead he has just started putting plastic trim around the bay window and there is a gap between the plastic trim and the window which he said he would fill with sealant. I am worried about drafts etc. Is this the correct method he has used? Appreciate any advice. Thanks. Have attached pictures
