If its a reskim wack some Bonding in ya first coat for the whole lid, helps getting th Barrel shape good too.

I get putting bonding in the corner but how do I form the barrel do I use a template say corner of a round tin or a bottle micky

Get a bottle of magners in the morning, down it, then use the empty bottle to form it if you can't do it with a trowel

They look proper s**t but the wooden handled Spanish plastic trowels are the tits for this.
Look for Valles or sanz especially the one with the white plastic megaflex blade is like potters wand on anything coved curved bullnosed or rolled.

Just use the lid off ov a 10lt paint tub or the like works as good as owt else and costs fook all.

Just man up and trowel it in step back look if it’s even trowel more in where needed then skim before the bonding goes off too far
