I absolutely hate plastic arch beads! I think they look naff. Still use them but they’re awful.

I did an arch free hand without beads a short while ago and enjoyed it. Couldn’t stand the thought of plastic arch in that house.

Oli mentioned external twitcher to me though. Must get one to forever avoid those shitty beads!

Yes

You can use a plastic arch bead (fix with staples or nails) or freehand using external corner trowel. The bead will protect againts knocks, use a powder set filler maybe 45.
