A couple of days sand cement rendering will bed it in. Not always possible to find a rendering job.

i have a trowel that has been used for 11 years. she only only comes out for trowelling up. still straight and miles better than plastic. carbon steel. i take it to bed with me. so maybe try that.

plenty of water on some slabs and make those arms burn
got a mate who is a spread he loves doing it
guess who does my trowels

diamond stone mate that or just use it i just break in a new trowel by useing it to lay on with then keep switching between new and already worn in trowel to do different things

file to round corners off, then oil stone rough side first then soft side, then wet and dry sandpaper down through the grades takes an hour or so but you can make them ready to go like this...then as others say use as much as poss and try and give walls a late polish for a while will help to keep sharpning up etc.:RpS_thumbup:
