Hi the customer wants a modern finish on these two bays it needs taking off back to the frame underneath . Normally I'd eml and sand and cement render it but customer wants k-rend,Weber finish on it.

What would you say would be the best option to do this in these kinds of finish?

Thanks

Tbh I personally think on them bays to do it as it originally looked, slapping a monocouche finish on them would make it look odd against the lovely work at the top

I'd say not a Bauwer job in this case, as no thermal insulation or vapour permeability (breathability) requirements from a customer.

Otherwise it would be Bauwer Light (up to 5omm in one insulating layer), Bauwer Finish (up to 5mm, with mesh) & JUB thin coat finish (Jubizol, used for mineral wool EWI) or silicate masonry paint (SecilTek, Earthborn Ecopro or other).

This approach is used for older homes insulation built before 1930, with solid stone or brick wall with no cavity.
A knowledgeable customer would typically request a highly breathable insulation, in order to prevent moisture build up and condensation issues later on; you could see more details at:
