Advice needed please

Hello all
My brother's flat (top floor, 3 storey) had this damp/condensation area top corner of bedroom. The patch looked like was caused from broken gutter/roof tile...they are fixed now. But since plaster upon touch seems brittle. fully qualified plasterer going to do whole room. any advice on the damp/condensation tips? Flat I've noticed does hold moisture so plan is to fit trickle vents in every window, windows open few hours a day, shower when in door shut etc, would a plaster vent be ideal to fit in that room or make it too cold? TIA

Zinsser mould paint will keep black mould away from condensation but you didn't have a condensation problem, you had a leak.
Cheers mate, we did get the roof tile and gutter repaired but that was more just precaution as was no real evidence of any leak, hopefully tho that was the case and no further leaks, if we're any at all.

Did I say he was the best? The house was bought before we got It plastered. This was mentioned as damp/condensation. Spit and polish a dick you little trans cretin. Swallow it aswell. Call your business spit or swallow. No hate towards plasterers but you act as if you're the b*ll***s! I've seen you're comments before and you're the big man, You're missus probably makes more than you selling her tits online.

Ranting insults isn’t a good look tbf mate. We’re all on the wind up to relieve the boredom. Spit is a good bloke unless he’s been on the Robinsons high juice.
Hope you get it sorted

Fair enough.
The comment there tho was a bit sarcastic. Just alot of that on here when someones asking ppl in the knows advice. Seen it over and over on here so sometimes throwing insults is just biting to bait. Appreciated you're advice before.
Just that comment you've looked at it as if I've paid someone to do a job and that's the result I'm left with. Genuinely a problem that my brother has and looking for advice

Aww Andy, I've missed you. Still humping fish? Good sook was it? Thanks mate for you're help. Sure you'll have plenty work for refugees down Essex, get some of you're tax back from government. Keep humping mate
Thank you for those kind words Aidan, they really are appreciated.
I will continue to tirelessly strive to provide you with as much help as I think you deserve, and you are very welcome my friend.
We're all hoping that as soon as you've got everything sorted your sense of humour will kick in. Fingers are crossed on that one, but we don't think it'd be safe at our ages to hold our breath.

Thanks Andy, means alot. In my defence I get a good amount of whoppers before any advice. Sometimes a litter help from ppls experience is all that's needed for me to chase up with a tradesman. I'm not taking you're work don't worry that's why tradesman are the specialist in that department. It's all tough Love

Always good to stand your ground Aidan, got to have some self respect.
Also good though to not let yourself get backed into a corner and come out swinging a hammer when a feather duster will do the job more effectively.

Fair point mate. May or may not have been on the old lager last night. I like slaughterting on this forum but yes Mabey best to go a little light hearted at times. For what it's worth I don't cry myself to sleep but do appreciate the good comments
