Hi, My name is Pete, and I was asked by Danny to give my thoughts on the ExtraTime plaster retarder by EazyMix.

Why I tried ExtraTime Plaster Retarder
When ExtraTime was released, I ordered a box of 100 to give it a trial on as many jobs as I could with British Gypsum’s Board Finish and Multi-Finish and up until now I have used about 75 sachets of ExtraTime.

Good video,I can see it's place in the plastering world and would like to see a powder to speed up a set for those small jobs.

I've never verbally beat him neither, maybe the other way round with his constant little digs and name calling flipping heck.

Thanks for asking me to do it , enjoyed being involved and hopefully plenty of information for times for anyone wanting to use it.
Times were taken in February when it was colder in the summer months I think the holding back of the first coat (until at least 60 minute's) would benefit most spreads of all experience levels young and older.

Don't want too piss on your fire but adding it in the first and not the second could cause problems ie the top setting before the bottom.

How did you know my choice of drink is baby sham...i have to add a little bit of orange juice though otherwise its a bit strong for me....although I am also partial to a bit of lambrini too(y)

Always worth a look at trying new stuff if you don't like it don't do it again haven't tried it yet but one day I might have a job where it is needed so good video can't pick holes and one for the future,well done chaps

No just the one as when that first is under control and flattened I think there is no need unless of course it's really big. As for what flynnyman said I tend to put my second on fairly late when it's firmed up a bit anyway.
