6 month old plasterboard.

Hi
Looking for some advice. Got a room where a couple of the walls have been plaster boarded but
it was done about 6 months ago and there has been no heating in the room since the boards went up.
Do you think that it will need a coat of PVA before skimming just in case it has dried out a bit?

I dont think it'd be a problem, but if you want to be certain then PVA it mate.

Thanks nelly. I am just worried that I won't find out
how the plaster board will behave until I start skimming
and by then it might be too late.
What mix of PVA do you think?
Maybe a 5 to 1 mix.

i skimmed a wall that had old plasterboard on once, never again. set like f**k and looked streaky. it was no different to any other wall when painted but ill always PVA now

5:1 is fine. its only a sealer, not a glue coat
