All 4s should work in the other gear.. There's also brushless set with 2x 4s for same price.. So confusing!

I can't decide what new makita driver/drill set to get, for same price I can either get the set with 3x 3.0a batteries or with 2x 4.0a batteries. Basically just wandering if anyone uses the 4.0s and if they are worth having over an extra battery.

I'm thinking about investing in some new tools, and can't decide between getting a speedskim or the nela s*p*r*lex. Ideal world I'd just get both.. But i don't do plastering full time.. So was wandering what would advantage me more at this current time.

Yeah it's easy to do a basic one yourself, or there are people who will do it for free, there's someone on Facebook from my area that does it for nothing.

I use it all the time, I had to use dulux weathersheild the other day because that's what the customer bought.. And it's no where near as good as sandtex. I wouldn't waste your time with a sealer or primer just two good coats will be fine!

I went from an astravan to a renault trafic and haven't regretted it one bit, got it all racked out, got all my plastering and decorating gear and all power tools, and can still get a good amount of 8x4s in and a dozen bags if needed.

Ahh fair enough, I don't do plastering week in week out so can't take some on full time, but there's occasions when I need some help and always handy to know someone with experience. Howcome your moving?

Evening all, I've been debating for some time on wether to get a pipe tube for carrying beads, I usually only get 2.4s because the 3s I would have to put on roof an and tie down. How many of you have one and actually use it and is it worth it?

I can't be dealing with a messy van, I like to be able to find something and grab it straight away, plus if customer catches a glimpse what they going to think? Are they going to be that messy in my house?

I looked at a job Wednesday, strip a bedroom of wallpaper and panelling, plaster bottom half of room, fit dado rail, decorate throughout, gave the bloke my price and he told me it was too high and duration too long, he told me he was expecting 3days and under £500.. So told him where to go.

Don't have mix too wet and it shouldn't slump at 4 inches it's very unlikely to slump

Makita all the way for me, I'm just in the process of replacing my old 18v stuff with the new lithium stuff, my old mans got all makita and never failed him. I've found it cheaper to buy the sets on amazon.com it comes from the USA all have to do is buy a uk charger and I'm still saving...

I had a case once, skimmed nice big lounge ceiling, decorated it all lovely. Electrician came to do his 2nd fix.. Found a fault, instead of going up stairs and lifting boards.. The **** smashes his hammer into my ceiling, luckily I wasn't on site.

A big branch should sell these products.. They shouldn't put their name on professional builder if you can't get the products in that magazine in there stores..
