I need your kind advice on identifying the type of render in these photos of my circa 1904 house(I appreciate the dash and render are not of that vintage :)).
The render has a lovely weathered look but also has a few cracks that I guess are letting water into the render and they...
Any tips for rendering onto breeze blocks. Also the lower half of the wall is old red brick (circa 1910)and below ground on one side with poor drainage to boot.
Planning to use 6:1:1,
plastering sand:cement:lime
Should Ipaint the wall with SBRand water mix to help adhesion and suction control?
