just knock up a half bucket for first mix , making sure you knock up enough though then nock up a quarter bucket for lay down coat .....JOB DONE

Keep your heating off , give walls or ceiling good coat of unibond 3 to 1 . then Bonding coat walls or ceiling if artex you can then let the bonding coat tac up a bit then skim ontop of the bonding coat . JOB DONE ... IF your new to the job then you might be better of just putting the bonding...

Dont just pva the ceiling make sure you use BONDING COAT first cos if you just use plaster , when the plaster dries it will shrink and you will proberly still see the shape of the artex . the Bonding Coat gets the ceiling flat again the you put the skim on that . Its best to put the Bonding Coat...
