Get a scrapper scrap as much off as you can,get some sugar soap or something similar with bits init like exfoliater, sponge it over try wash as much as you can off, wash it all off with clean water, good to go,its worked for me in the past,but only my opinion of course.

Just had a browse through google.theres a few different types of acoustic plaster, i think most of it has to be supplied fitted and sprayed by the acoustic companys cant find any other products anywhere else.

Spoke to my mate earlier,hes fitting some type of acoustic boards but said the person hes doing it for wants acoustic plaster put over it.never heard of it meself i thought the boards were the finish.

Anyone used acoustic plaster?whats it like to use?isit something you could give it a go n hope for the best or would it be better gettin someone that uses it often to come and do it? Many thanks

Riteo excellent, would you recommend to do the whole chimney breast in fire cement or just inside the mouth? Would around the mouth on the front of chimney breast be ok to do in normal s&c then multi? Also isit still ok to use beads around the mouth? Many thanks

Hi all im in need of some advive. A friend has ripped out there old fireplace and wants to re place it with a log burner.halfway up the chimney breast and inside the mouth is all hacked off back to brickwork, they want me to make it good but im not to sure on the ingredients I should use...
