Is This Normal?

Hi Folks,

Just had horizontal damp proof course and tanking put in, and replastering in the back room of a ground floor flat (3 walls). On the back wall of the property the plaster looks like in the pics - the bit at the bottom isn’t quite as consistent as the rest. Could someone more knowledgable than me let me know please if this is normal plastering imperfections or do I need to get them back? It isn’t bumpy and no residue comes off when you touch it.

Many thanks,

Looks like they’ve just used a lot of water and trowelled up the fat.If it’s smooth/flat, then paint it and hopefully it’ll look ok. I’d be more concerned that they’ve done their ‘damp proofing’ properly.

Thanks, Chrispy. Is there a way to know about the damp proofing before going ahead and painting etc? Thanks
