Me and Bingo have just Started a job in Milton Keynes for our firm,prices have dropped but nice big walls,skim only and still making a good wage, going to a nuthouse next near newark,got 6 months work float and set job. i feel sorry for you chaps who do domestic stuff.

screw ur board up as norm but leave the edge flapping when u come to screw the end slide the flat plate between ceiling and board leaving half showing to catch the next board

hey up ive been plastering 26 years now still enjoy it just its all been site work 22 years with the same firm with only 2 days off layed off no work back in 1993/4 would like to work for me self but its better the devil u know lol

i use the makita screw gun best thing i ever brought especially for overboarding ceiling 60 quid of ebay had it 3 years now and still going strong
most of the dry liners on oiur firm use hilti cordless screw guns around the 200 quid mark they swear by them

Yeah browning was fine alot easier to mix up with than hardwall but in them days it was mixed with a shovel no mixing drill
skimmed it same day with carlite finish which in my opinion was the best finish plaster ever made

we did a big job beginning of the year using hardwall first time we use it for about 5 years just been skimming out apartments
