So I floated 3 of the 4 faces today with a 6:1:1 mix and I am very happy with the results. What do you experts think? When sponging up is there any trick to removing the course grains of sand that come to the surface? Or is that the aim of the game?

So attempt #2 happened.
My mix was much better and I only had a few issues when I applied too much too quick and it slumped away.

Is it really important to put the copings on first? I am keen to give the top coat a go. How tricky is pebble dash for a complete novis? Thanks for your support
