    I always use normal building sand, and I mix the top coat 5-1 with a touch of lime , My main line of work is people dash and never had any problems with that ratio. Hope that helps :RpS_thumbup:

    Ye the Scratches down the middle are on them doesn't affect it in any way. I've always used marshal town permashape can't go wrong. Can't comment on the nela trowels as I've never used one but the lads seem to like them! Good luck buddy!

    In wales prices have been going down, many plasterers around me willing to skim 2 coat for £2.50 pm!! Shocking! Ewi prices gone down too from £17 pm2 down to £12pm2 (including boarding) most company's got Latvians and Polish working for them really hard to compete!
