I do lots of lime render jobs every year and your right it's the best way forward.

I've used loads of there gear the past year
What I don't like is any folk can go on there 6 hour course and that makes them a approved contractor!!
A bricklayer from round my way did a course and undercut me on a big job and approached my subbies.

Most only really care about the cost.
They renovate then move anyhow.
The cost isn't marginal it's double if not triple the cost.

I'm well aware about using a breathable material.
I give the customer 2 options and it's up to them what they choose.
It's no bother too me as it's there house so I'm not fussed what they used as long as I get paid!!
