Let me make this easy for you to understand
It's not my house so I don't care what material they use.
I've probably done more lime render jobs than you so believe it or not I understand

One coat of sand and cement at 15mm costs £2.this is traditional works
I've done hundreds of jobs and lime render jobs are x3 times the cost!'

I'll give the customer what they want!!
I do lots of lime render jobs every year and your right it's the best way forward.
I very much doubt the render police will get involved buddy!!

I've used loads of there gear the past year
What I don't like is any folk can go on there 6 hour course and that makes them a approved contractor!!
A bricklayer from round my way did a course and undercut me on a big job and approached my subbies.

Most only really care about the cost.
They renovate then move anyhow.
The cost isn't marginal it's double if not triple the cost.
I charge a lot more for a lime render jobs
As said I'm not really bothered as it's there property so as long as they pay me it's there worry.[emoji106]

I'm well aware about using a breathable material.
I give the customer 2 options and it's up to them what they choose.
It's no bother too me as it's there house so I'm not fussed what they used as long as I get paid!!

If you we're a bit closer I'd like to see the difference with the genie tbh.
I've no doubt you know you stuff although I reckon you know the G4 is the daddy.x

Why does the most experienced machine guy in the country say it doesn't?
It doesn't bother me either way as I have a big enough genie to pump 50m2 no problem!!

Not sure there's anyone around using the m100 for render works as it's used mainly for internal skimming, from what I've heard.
The m200 or ritmo/G4 are better suited for render.
My personal recommendation would be a pft machine.
There the best made machine mate.[emoji106]

It still won't be a bright white like her downpipes/guttering.No mono will tbh.
The silicone bucket coats would be a better option

Some lads don't have 6 grand plus vat.
My mate bought a used G4 the other day for 5 grand no vat.only done a couple of jobs.
Best machine on the market there for a few grand less.
No point hey!!

We spray our basecoats all the time now
Spray as wet as possibly
1 guy spray and another using a serrated edge behind then drop back and mesh together
Spraying for around a hour can get you 50-60m2 on no problem

Ha ha fair play gregg
As always you can't seem to talk about the thread and turn it into childish comments.
Stick too skimming dogshit artex so you won't need to use a scale rule?'!![emoji849][emoji79][emoji12]

There's a few guys on here that will know about the monojet joe going back on topic
Rigbys your man I reckon although there are probably different models
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nationally doesn't bother me gregg.
I've had a few lads on lately and some are useless tbh.
I don't care where there from.
If there work is good then that's all that matters.

To be not all foreigners are rough c**ts.
There's a few gangs down here doing thin coat.im going to try and get them involved on a big job I've got on.theyll get the same dollar as English guys.
I'll have no problem employing them

Wez do yourself a favour and get those 200 big ones over to Swansea.
Ian knows his shnizzle.
Just make sure you take a dump before you get there.
That toilet is like a scene out of train spotting.!![emoji23]

Sounds mad but I don't really worry about stuff going up in cost.
Everything is constantly going up now.
I just get my head down and get on with it.
If it's 600 then work a few days extra or get your guys to chuck a few more sheets on[emoji106]
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ha ha why bother rendering it though.i would tell the customer this also
