hello rapidset.dont be dispondent by comments as most not all issuing negative comments are not plasterers any ways.and some have to be told how to apply multi and flatten without it going all wobbley.so been font of all knowledge in every building subject.proves that not always best plasterers...

have been reading this thread and found the golden trowel sponge float method.what the guy actually says is that it is one method of balancing and blending in the first coat.but not the prefered method.if you actually watch it you will see that he is not wetting the sponge float so is not...

Re: Wattle & Duab garret. if you ever need to be sure of the exact ratio or lime to sand on certain jobs always worth taking a sample and sending it to one of the companys like mike wye they will free of charge do the test on the old material and give you the exact spec enabling you to match...
