just did a job exactly the same as this... sbr and cement powder slurry rollerd onto the old render and scratch over with a 4.1 waterproofed mix...go over the slurry b4 it dries tho ( within 15 mins )... leave a few days then topcoat with 5.1.1 and plasticiser .. holds like s**t to a blanket!!!
that customer hu lets there crazy dog run riot wen ur tring to get ur tools in and out u have to keep fighting the bloody thing with ur bucket trowell so he dont run out the door..customer is jus sat on sofa festering in cigaretts and coffee and doesnt even tell the damm dog to get outa the way

200- 250 a day between u both. if hes just labouring start him at 50 a day and then go up as he starts skimming hardwalling dabbing etc... if they can drive then meet em at the job,if not and hes decent pick him up

not skimming i kno, but hate wen u lay a load of tiles on a friday like i did last friday onli to come in after the weekend and see the dopey customer has gone and walked over them 2 early wen i specifically told them not to,,,resulting in all the corners dipping and leaving lips in places.and...

just always thought that if uv got the mixer out u may aswell render the walls in 2 coat the same day and set them the next day rather than have to clear up muck from the same place twice..but like its been sed many a times each to there own,everyone learnt different ways and methods
thing is once u tell a customer theyve got 28 days u kno there jus guna wait until the last day or untill u chase them up on it,,,never kno u may even forget all about that 100 skim set u did 3 weeks ago lol

u never one coat? meaning u scratch one day then second coat the next? always worked with spreads hu put a ruff coat on then once its pulled in a bit jus second coat it out to ur frames beads or wateva thickness u need ,then rule off and float? wats ur technique ?
