thats what i thought but a doggy plasterer ::) told me you put it behing all the mesh so the external finish will not crack if the back ground is likly to move :-\

that sounds like the best bet ive been though lots of search engines and books and they all just say sr1, sr2 and sr3 just shows should have asked here first cheers Barryed

yes mate. use a 5mm window packer as a gauge to get it looking neat and tidy then fill them with adhesive when applying the mesh ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? i was told to use buiders paper behind the mesh to stop the movement cracking the thin coat ;)

hi can you help out can anyone tell me the minimum depth of sand cement floor screed for a 1. bonded floor, 2. unbonded floor 3. floating floor and is it true that the mix sould be 3:1 mixed by hand and 4:1 if ready mixed thanks Homer :-\

old factory wall internal, making good, old sand cement haggled and falling off wall, area 4 seperate patches of aprox 5 square meters by 50mm thick, i was going to use cement lime sand 1:2:9 and plastercisor, and finish off with multi finish plaster. wondering if i could use ready mixed white...

mr burns was happy with the job, funny though magnesium trowels didn’t last long ::)

Had to re skim the reactor once, used sbr and best carlite multi-finish usually go to Moe’s to get plastered...Doh :D ;D
