It use to be so easy skimming away , but nowadays it’s a chore trying to time it perfectly so you don’t end up with stripes tearing or a multitude of sins that appear in your work, it’s shite to use and makes your work look shite because you have to give it some extra trowels because it looks...

im 50 and knackered and just can't remember anything lately ,i love boarding but measuring up is becoming a chore ,give me skim only please i may be able to grow old peacefully then

Yes there’s a few up here knocking that kind of money out , but I’m 50 now and been throwing s**t at wall since I was 15 , me or others will not work for £2.00 to £2.50 a metre so that makes work a touch harder to find

Couldn’t and wouldn’t know about midlands but around here it’s proper dog eat dog at moment, loads of work going on depending on what wage you expect

It’s not picking up like I thought , but with other things happening like carillon, brexit it can only be expected to be honest, and people thinking you will work for peanuts , firms going bust with no come back to them personally it all adds up to trouble on work front

It’s been very strange work wise since Xmas, starting stopping then nothing hopefully something will turn up soon
