I think they are standard construction. I saw them on the new Sarah Beeny show a few weeks ago and that is why I started looking into them. Here is the link of the page. It is one of many SIPS sites but SuperSips can just have one skin they meet aand go past all building regs more so than bricks...

It is dashed Spanky. It's not like it's a garden shed or something made out of balsa wood. They have really good reviews and all the certificates from BBA etc. But I see your point in a way most people might think that but I spoke with an estate agent yesterday and he said it makes no difference...

Hi again. Do any of you fellas know anything about SIPS I am going to build an extension at the back of the house like a knock through going into a 6m x 4m kitchen diner with a flat roff. I want it up quick and was thinking about SIPS but when I have read up on them they seem to need two skins...

I have only just joined here. Have any of you changed your working methods since being on here? I mean with new tools mentioned on here or tried new things like scouring etc? I have read a few threads and like the sound of the spatulas but I don't think I will ever change from just two coats and...

I work alone. I dont mind it. When i work with others it amazes me sometimes the poor quality of their work and I don't want to be part of it. On your own you only have yourself to blame and your own good standards to live up to.

Thanks Jurek. He looks like he has seen it all. It's strange sometimes to see others at work my own is a bit more orderly and a lot quicker but he is an old man and as long as it is all okay in the end. He looks like he has been doing it for fifty years not thirty. Does anyone know him?

I saw the apron :RpS_biggrin: Its like in the Texas Chainsaw. Hes been around for thirty years it says but his spotboard and stand looks older than that.
