I got the normal stainless trowel by nela as a tester , i havnt put my review up yet but it seems very well made and if the s*p*r*lex is built to same quality am sure it will be good :)
 
looks a very well made trowel just like the Nela stainless, looking forward to using it
 
Mine turned up yesterday and as Olican has said it really does look well made and the cork handle feels absolutely spot on, unfortunately a change of plans means I won't get a chance to use it until Monday now.
Just on the strength of the build quality I'll be ordering one of the stainless trowels, as long as they're not silly expensive.
 
Mentioned it on another thread mate, we have gone lower than originally planned so don't have a massive margin. Once things get moving there will be a slight price increase then the forum members will get a discount to the original rate

ryan will there be an 18 nelaflex or just the 16 can you put me down for one as soon as they are out the 16 will be fine was just enquiring about the 18

i still wanna know how they compare to the refina not the build quality i know that already but the actuall usage off the bat @scottie5 did you get one?

Ryan you cant say that yet. They haven't been around like mt and refina have. Say it in 10-20 years
 
I have a nela premium. Not the flexy. What im saying is you cant make a statement like that when weve known about these trowels for a couple of weeks. Yes it feels well made and im enjoying mine. But ive had it a week!

No jace i had a little blast with both on the bg mine tour, i like the look of them and am impressed with the handles.
Im going to hang fire a bit and see if an 18" is available, if not will order the 16" as like you mate am a sucker for shiney new trowels.

how did it feel all be it for a short amount of time you used it for how was it against the refina the blades ment to be a slightly different set up to refina was it a noticable difference

I only laid a bit of skim in with it so i really cant say a great deal, i am looking forward to hearing a side by side review of this vs the refina though. I really want it to be as good as the refina though as ryan seems to have put alot of effort into sourcing these trowels.

Im getting one, and I use Refina all the time, so will write a comparison when I get the trowel..
