It nothing compared to aids. People survive this only majority die. Once this antibody test I want the teachers to get the test and I'm hoping the majority have had this virus and kick ther arse back to school.
Err., not a great example as most survive ok now with HIV and don't develop AIDS! Schools fecked either way. Needed to enable back to work but the kids survive ok & take it back home where it f*cks parents and grandparents. For now, too risky. Lot of schools do not have enough rooms/resources to do it. Resources include cleaners being healthy & able to continue to deep clean classrooms every night, as they are doing at the moment for the kids who have to go now.

The problem will be getting through to the kids. My daughter is a teacher and she’s been in teaching the kids that have to go in. They gave no idea about social distancing at all. Forever being told to keep apart, and that’s secondary kids. No hope with the little ones

You googled all that s**t up.? Your not that clefer that y your a plastrer lol

Yes, that was my point. If you don't know about something then have a read about it, see what research there is, have a look at a range of opinions from experts in their field etc. Then you have not only gained enough information to form a reasonable opinion but you'll be able to explain why you've come to the conclusions you have.

I'm not suggesting for a second that I'm definitely right, but I can always describe what's lead me to think the way I do on a subject. Similarly if people have a completely different opinion on something but can back it up with information and say why they've come to that conclusion then great. You can then have a proper informed debate about the merits of each argument. That way even if you completely disagree with someone they deserve some respect for having made a reasonable case or point.

Anyway, I'm not a plasterer. I'm a builder who makes lists project manager in charge of personnel allocation and resource tracking. :coffe:

My kids school half kids back Monday Tuesday, everyone off Wednesday to allow teachers to deep clean it all and other half in Thursday and Friday.

Personally think they should leave it another month at least and then let them back for a few weeks half way through summer holidays if it's safer then

The only reason I can see for getting schools operating again this soon is to provide free child care. Unless they're doing 'O' or 'A' levels I can't see what harm there is in being off for the remaining 8 weeks. Especially when as you say they could just drag the start of the next year forward to compensate.

Yep it's all about childcare to get people to work. I'm not sure I'll be sending my kid back to school. Seems bizzare its the youngest years going back that will not be able to resist breaking social distancing rules all day every day. They have no idea what 2 meters is no matter how many times you tell them

On the news and talking to people I know it seems like a lot of people won't be sending their kids in. Hopefully it's worrying unnecessarily but there'll be hell to pay (and rightly so) if there's an increase in infection as a result.

They won't fine people. Kids missing a few months of school will have no effect long term. One parent will have to just stay off work. Obviously poor families won't have that choice if both parents ordinarily work

South West. I don't mean back this Monday. They'll be back first Monday in June we've been told for 2 days a week. Pretty sure we won't be sending ours
