Went to price a 2 story house today 2400 square ft. All the walls sand cement and skim and ceilings bonded and skim. The owner says theres a price 3600 cash at the moment. Could I do it any cheaper. What's the trade coming to Lads

The out there mate messrs, makes you feel like a right c**t when you get back in the van and you've wasted your time, I can usually sus them out over the phone I do a little bit of digging without sounding unprofessional,
 
I priced a job off pics last week..living room/dining room through..£1250 I said to skim walls only,msged back saying I've got a quote for £650..use f**k**g him then..gets a quote 4 £650 and the t**t is still trying to find it cheaper
 
223 square meters....so around £16 a square meter....that’s not out of hand if the customer is supplying material?

Ye but is it joe public job or a repeat builder customer! It makes a huge difference..ur telling me ud fully plaster somebody's house and in s&c for £3600? Bearing in mind he wants him to beat that price..knowway would I fully plaster somebody's house for that! Price the job for fucks sake on what it's worth..imagine how much added value the t**t is getting in some numpty doing it for that
 
Why do u think wrens kitchen or b@q charge x amount to dry install a kitchen! I've just had a quote 4 a 8 unit kitchen and to dry install it is £2200 it would take them a day..told them to f**k off but that's not the point..there price it on what the job is worth..how many numptys say yes..that's the market you aim for,the numptys that say yes to stuff like that..your welcome

He'll be hard pushed to find some f**k*r who can float out in s/c to a decent standard if hes more than lucky

Just done x2 average size receptions...over boarding both ceilings....prep and skim ceiling and walls £3500...ceiling overboard and skim (4 boards) £690 today...ready to take a month off (y)

That's what it's all about..been back on domestic today n yestarday..worked 7 hours in 2 days..back on site tho rest of week

it is very unusual to float party walls on the first floor these days.
these people who give low quotes don't show up when they have had a think.

Heard every excuse in the book this year...you can go in with confidence when customer has been let down by another spread.

we had 1 this year. the woman paid him in advance and never saw him again. then she said to me 'do you need any money in advance ?'

No I wouldn’t....I hardly do any domestic work, Mainly commercial and even then I don’t pick up any tools lol
