Because it’s as close to being a working class sport as possible unlike football which has taken a turn for the worst and about money and fans being treated as customers which is why I enjoy lower league football

there is good money in darts, a local, ex pro dart player now picks up 30k for a weeks tv about retirement. better then his old job as a floor screeder.

What I don’t agree with is I read an article a while back and all the Highgate set (affluent area middle/upper class people) was going to the darts as ally pally isn’t to far for them for them to then go back to their mates and say they spent a day at the darts with the common people found it rather insulting myself we ain’t animals in a zoo

It is it’s about working out maths and technical have you ever thrown a dart and know how hard it is? And yes they was all fatties but now they take it serious and many have lost a lot of weight to improve their game

They put on a very good show and have stood the test of time he comes into crowd and all sorts which I think is brilliant
