Started a job and its all really silky paint, almost like they glossed the walls. Heating has been ripped out and its freezing...had half day of prep today then one set....set took 4 hours and tomorrow I need to do two sets to stay on schedule....any good ways to speed them up without f**k**g myself up with gear that flash sets

Funny u should mention this but I done a job today with a bloke who I hadn't worked for before and he put first coat on and then put the tightest second coat I have ever seen on way to tight for me but he did do a good job if I'm honest I just don't like to work hard I like to work smart but that's just me

s**t ain't it lol, took me 4 hours on a ceiling today ...... bored as feck. Be interested in seeing what others do too :)

I couldn't think of anything worse than trying to speed things up I only do a max of 2 bag hits as it is my site speed days are well gone maybe that's why I'm a fat cont

Is over a textured bonding agent @Lodan??
No mate just Over pva, thought today I should have blue gritted it but to late now as the grit would take all day to dry...i pva'd the whole room today and took 4 hours to dry with the cwindows open

I done this in my mums front room bay window ceiling, weak as anything just turned to dust and can't paint it

I had to do my own bay window, hungover from a night out celebrating...thought i'll gove it one good coat and that'll F*****g do its behind the new sofa anyway so nobody will see it.

New sofa is lower than i remember and now its all peeling off where i patched it in. Wifes threatening to post pictures and a bad review on our facebook page

To be honest mate im usually the same and like the down time but 2 sets at 4 hours is going to make for a long day....im maybe thinking just put the whole room on in one really big set but never done so much and makes me a bit nervous

I never have any luck with friends and family :(

Mate tell me about that one...... skimmed a mates hall stairwell dining room and lounge and it's got cracks all over, real heart ache to see. Top coat seems stuck but base coat is suspect. Should of put a bit more effort into preventing cracks but was doing it cheap. And now twice.... I literally never want to work for friends ever ever again
