I done it when I put a down stairs toilet in my house and my son bounds up and the stairs ,can hardly hear anybody going up or down now,but horses for courses

but its stilll the stairwell. not saying your wrong but i dont bother. if the arse end of the stairs was in a living or bed room then yeah.
