Outside Wall

Hi I want cover an exterior wall, can I just brown it then plaster over it then paint it with exterior paint? Also do I need to use corner flashing to do a re-skim if Im not plastering round the corner? I bet these questions sounds so dumb......lol...really need help....thanks.

Got to be S&C for outside or K-rend etc but no plaster!!!!!!! Use skimming stop bead on an external angle if your stopping there.

It really depends on the background and the site but a 4:1 scratch coat with a waterproofer and 5:1 top coat.
