Overboard and skim it get in the van and go home sparky can stand there talking about horses and Stanley screwdrivers.
 
But you're only lifting the face off. You're not changing anything.
Sometimes you can even leave the screws in as there's just enough space to get your trowel behind.

We've shorted out many times when dropping crap behind sockets lol...it just breaks off when dry and power back on no probs.
He said about removing the face, block connecting and taping the wires, not just unscrewing it to plaster behind it.
 
I use to be scared of electrics (got nick named flash) but now I dont worry... use to ask teh customer to take them off and just say I was not insured :D
