Hi everyone- it looks like most of the people here are from the UK- I'm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I'm renovating a house, which turns out to have plaster on the walls, which in florida is not too common nowadays. Most of the construction (post 1973 and later) use gypsum drywall panels with drywall compound skim coats. Soooo.... I appreciate all the help I can get. Sounds like you guys know what you're talking about. I, for one, have no idea. Thanks! Cheers!
