Cable Capping is NOT required and DOESN'T protect!

Im skimming some flats that are being renovated the now, and the sparks are rewiring, its a disgrace, almost 1 metre of cable hanging out of everybox. And the chases for the cables arent deep enough for the plastic capping. So yeterday I went around with the tin snips and cut back every wire and...

200 a day seems awfully expensive. And thats probly what the customer is thinking when they got your quote. Another plasteres probaly come in and asked what other prices are and undercut you and everyone else. You win some you lose some pal

small extinsion to render bit of advice

Ashley, what if you mess the scratch coat up. Then if your pals top coat fails it makes both you look like fools. It might be hard to get someone to top coat someone elses eork.

sagging top coat after floating where scratch lines are

They did fall out . Theyve built out all the bellcasts and not cut it back. So theres only maybe 1mm on the bead left, im some places none. In some windows theve stuck 30mm beads ontop of scratch coat?!! And in other places theyve used 10mm beads. Its a disgrace, thats **** balls
  27. D

sagging top coat after floating where scratch lines are

I see , its on about 6-8 mm , 10 at the most where the beads are, its only in small areas in random parts of the wall also. I dont think it was too wet as done afew walls on house before and they are perfect.

sagging top coat after floating where scratch lines are

Its got lots of waterproofer I believe. I could understand if id soaked the wall down first and it sagged down. if the scratches are too deep can that cause problems
  30. D

sagging top coat after floating where scratch lines are

What causes this ? Two walls did it today , after id finished got a call to say it was coming through , and a wall I did last week which is already set has started also supposedly. I didnt even soak the wall down as there is no suction even if they are damp from a soaking and its dried in...
