White side paper goes over board edge onto other side of board grey/brown side paper goes 2 mil or so from edge of board therefore less chance of paper de-laminating on joints

But once you have cut the board length ways the paper finishes at the cut edge of the board and is no longer overlapped on the other side. So there has to be more to it then just how to papers bound to the board.

my guess is........oh **** it i dont know :RpS_confused: the only time skim the brown side is when i cut a shape wrong :RpS_blushing: and that dont happen very often :RpS_unsure:

If theres enough board on the job and ive done it the wrong way round i would just use it as a template :RpS_thumbup:

if you have to use the brown side give it a coat of pva before you skim it.
