Any tips on where to find a young enthusiastic lad wanting to learn plastering. have had loads over the years (25 years), but only 2 or 3 that have ever been of any worth.

poland, africa anywhere but the uk..... they are all lazy conts who want top money to sit texting all day

ill echo the above in my experience,but occassionaly you find a diamond

i got my last apprentce from the local building college, he was doing a vocational diploma thingy,and couldnt find an an employer,i gave him a shot at 19 and he did a full aprenticeship with me and hes still here now for me 4 years later.

most of my work is north and west london

try your local rugby club, the lads in there will tell you who's keen, who's thick and who's too fkin clever - although the ones with the most mouth on them can make the best ones:RpS_thumbup:
