Does anyone else get their builders a bottle at Christmas? I normally get a bottle of Jameson's and it always goes down well. Just a little thanks for all the work. 20 odd quid for weeks/months of work through the year is a small price to pay I reckon.

Lifes all about good relations, you can be s**t at most things but know how to treat people and get on well in life (obviously not saying your s**t just an example)

Been trying to get builder to bring choccy biscuits on job we are on as we are doing his new build home where he's guna live..turned up 2day with half a pack of cheap shortbread buiscuits
 
Typical tight arse. One of the builders I work for comes in with a carrier bag full of biscuits his Mrs sends him out with. There's alsorts in there. Jammy dodgers, bourbons, custard creams the lot. Never ever has he ever offered any out. I grabbed one once thinking he wouldn't mind and his face dropped with sheer disgust. Couldn't believe it!

U went in his sarnie bag to nick a biccy lol? Or were there team biscuits? We meet sumtimes on mad Friday but not many go out these days we are hitting casino this mad friday

The bag was quite open in the centre of the table and the biscuits were in sight so I just went for it lol. It was like taking dinner away from a dog mid meal! Won't do it again.
Was invited out by a builder this Friday but I'm stuck in as it's the wife's works do :( gutted! Casino's a good shout (y)

Watching @Nisus trowel up is best done through a window. That way you can put a mark on the glass to see when he moves.

Been casino last 3 years gud laugh..ye suppose if its a bag of biccys in middle of table I'd say that qualifies as team biscuits
 
A builder I use to do a bit for use to take us and the wives out every year , boat disco, had s mask ball one year , nice restaurants but the best one he took about 40 of us wags included to the ritz , what a great night that was , hate to think how much that cost him :sorprendido3:

Fair play tho to builders as alot can go wrong wen there pricing jobs etc so I dnt mind them making notes as its a high risk game there in ours is a simple game..
