Wood beams

Hi got an apex to render with fake wood beams done out of render
Not done these before so here gos was goin to scratch it all
then put some roofing lats on 25mm copy the shape of the other apex which is like a w shape
Fill in the lats then remove them when stiffend up would this be ok
Question is what's best for the wood grain thanks

You can get a wooden plank texture skin (hire em from pics) or if your feeling confident yo can use a knife and fork to create the basic effect

A lot of pargetting tools were made from cutlery, although mainly spoons.

Will try a fork they have bolts in em too will stick some inwhile its still

Also try a stiff brush, wire brush & a stripped back flex cable for finer grain :RpS_thumbup:
