What a shame about the crooked pub in Dudley being burned down. It was very interesting place I went there once in 1982 .

You felt p1ssed up in there before you’d even had a pint. I’ve got a feeling someone’s gonna get their collar felt over the fire somewhere down the line

That place burning down is fishier than a fishy thing.
Immediately demolished without permission.
It'll be interesting to see what, if any, repercussions there are for the owners.

When I went there we were 3 teenagers from London working in Dudley for 3 months. The locals were friendly ,they showed us all the funny stuff like the q ball running up the plate rack. Bottle going up the bar. The grandfather clock looked like it six inches out of plumb. And I think we had banks mild about 40p a pint . Stayed in a transport cafe in briefly hill .proper shite hole. But great pub opposite. 4 furnaces. Happy days our kid.
