which trowel to get?

Hello there all, I need to buy a new trowel as mine has gone missing! I have had Marshalltown xtralight gold before but what is the difference between just a goldthat one and just the gold one? And any other suggestions? ?

silverline are good mate. and ragni. dont think because they're more expensive they're better. its not true. the jeans i get from primark for a fiver are just as good as levis 501 which are about fifty quid.

You should try one mate, great trowel, there on offer aswell 25 quid plus vat and postage, I use the 16''...

The trowel you want depends on what you want it for. The s*p*r*lex type trowels that get loads of prase on here are no good for rendering.

think the difference is one of them might be slightly curved blade and other is flatter, they used to be like that anyway.
